We used Clean and Dry in a home we owned previously and were very pleased so we did not hesitate to use them again when we wanted to encapsulate our new homes crawl space area. Very professional, showed up on time and meticulously performed their work. you will not regret working with them.Posted on Google Amy RileyJune 8, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Chase did a great job at our house in Boone. It was a low and unfriendly crawlspace. Chase was very pleasant and had a great attitude. I looked at the finished product and it looked great!Posted on Google Leigh JohnsonMay 19, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Grateful for the professionalism and quality of work provided by the team at Clean and Dry Environmental Solutions!Posted on Google Rob ZienertFebruary 12, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Clean & Dry recently did radon mitigation in my Echota condo as part of our purchasing process. The lower level condo had a reading of 6.6 and after mitigation, we're averaging 0.9.... well within EPA recommendations. We appreciate the very effective job they did and how they worked around our schedule. Hats off to a great team!Posted on Google Denise RinglerFebruary 11, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I used Clean and Dry for a basement encapsulation, which included waterproofing and mold remediation. I was extremely impressed by the knowledge, skills, and professionalism of the Clean and Dry team, and their commitment to quality, customer service and affordable pricing. I can highly recommend this company.Posted on Google Ginnie MattesJanuary 26, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had such a damp crawlspace because our drainage was no longer working. In just 3 days they got rid of the mold that was growing and making our house smell, fully encapsulated the space and installed underground drainage. Not only that but they were the best price! They did more things to solve our issue than other companies that gave us a quote. And those other companies wanted more money! Clean and Dry really do care about their costumers and their quality of work! Fully recommend!!!Posted on Google b bDecember 21, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I enjoyed working with Clean & Dry Environmental from start to finish. I felt they were honest and trustworthy. Matt and the other workers were courteous and nice. The completed work was beyond my expectation. I would definitely use them again for any future project and highly recommend them for anyone else. STAY AWAY!!! This is one of the most unprofessional companies I've ever worked with. First off; They came extremely unprepared. They didn't have proper seals to go around the pipe so they shoved paper towels down the hole as a seal. How do I know this? Because it completely fell apart days after they left and just crumbled away around the pipe. Halfway around the pipe there wasn't any concrete at all. It was also sucking in air around the pipe because it wasn't properly sealed and wasn't properly concreted in. Additionally, they didn't use any standoffs to mount the pipe to the house, they just used galvanized hanger straps. Not only does it look ugly, it's extremely unprofessional. To top it off, they didn't have the right boring hole to drill on the side of the house and were just banging on the side of my house with sledgehammers to make a hole. I didn't know this until the job was almost done and I went out and there was a huge hole in the side of my house that was just knocked in with sledgehammers. I'm pretty upset about this. This company takes no pride in their work whatsoever and it's as fast as they can get it done. Luckily, I can do a lot of this stuff myself so I ended up taking everything down and redoing the entire job myself, the right way. This company is absolutely pitiful and takes no pride in what they do. I'm extremely disappointed. I waited a year and a half to write this review because I don't take writing negative reviews lightly. But with all their signs around town every time I see it, I feel like it's my duty to warn others to not use such an unprofessional company. Additionally, they illegally pay their workers commissions and if they don't make those commissions then they don't get paid, which is illegal in the state of North Carolina. This is the trouble with using contractors in mountain towns. There's not a lot of experience, no quality of work and no care whatsoever. No matter what these people say to my review, don't listen to it. I consulted with real professionals out of state on this matter. In response to your reply. I have photos of everything. When I get back home, I'll be sure to upload them. What's even more absurd is that you think I would make up such a crazy lie. Your guys DID in fact use PAPER TOWLES as a seal before stuffing the hole with concrete. I don't know if they carry it or not, maybe they found them in my basement, who knows, but it was surely done. The fact that you replied the way you did solidifies my feeling about your company. Total lack of regard for others. The reason why I didn't call? Because I don't trust your company after what happened. You should look up the job details and ask the crew you sent out. They were actually really nice guys, just super inexperienced. UPDATE. So I'm going through tons of photos, and I will find the ones of me re-doing the job. But first things first. I called it a sledge hammer, it wasn't, I found a photo of it, it's a handheld electric demolition / rotary hammer. Additionally, here's a photo of one of the guys on my property. He appeared to have an English or Irish accent. Again, very nice guy, just not experienced. I'll find the photos and post more, since now you're trying to throw my credibility.
